The theme is roofs (or rooves) but as you noticed yesterday and can see today, it can be interpreted anyway you wish. The only rule that must be followed is your photograph must be square!
Once you have your square your roof can be;
- any type, any condition, any size, and in any location.
- it could be a shot across rooftops, of one roof or even a macro
- you might prefer to spend some time under the eaves and in the attic, or like me in all my previews enjoy the view from above
This is a daily challenge throughout June, and uses the tag #RoofSquares. However feel free to post alternate days, once a week or as and when the roof strikes you. Do try and link back to my daily posts, as that way everyone else can find you and visit you the same day. And don’t worry if you are somewhere where there are few roofs (rooves) as it is absolutely fine to delve into your archives. It is what I do, and in fact is what I did today. For more roofing ideas visit yesterday’s post for the latest curation.
PS Sue a few days ago when I posted the bread oven you asked me about the rest of the house. Well this is the kitchen!
Poor …ex-roof ?
Love the choice!

I hope this was taken using a long zoom lens. It doesn’t look awfully stable in there! Mine is closer to home today and quite quirky.

I think this building has gone beyond being a renovator’s delight.

Oh I’m so glad. Was worried everyone might find it too dismal.

Poor roof! And what a clever bit of dereliction to get us all thinking wider.
I’m going slightly odd today and it will be with you soon!

This part was in dreadful shape but some of the other rooms you could move in immediately (well almost!)

I think I need to loosen my interpretation of roof!

Or maybe I should rein mine in!!

Whoa, that “roof” offers even less cover than the Kew gazebo!
