It is the final day of squares and thanks to all your support and encouragement I am feeling upbeat, so much so I am sitting upright like these masts.

Squares might be nearly over but the sunrise is a reminder that there is beauty, and even silver linings, to be found in an approaching storm. And talking of beautiful moments, the final gallery with your amazing squares will appear soon.

In the meantime if you have not had a chance to join in the fun of squares, why not join us today on this final day. Everyone is always welcome. The theme is up, and the only rule is that your photographs must be square. And if you can’t join us today then no worries, Squares will be back in April!
Meant to say, I have thoroughly enjoyed this month, canβt wait for April, wonder what you will task us with!

awww thanks Sue, I am so glad you have enjoyed it.
I can’t wait for April either as I am even more excited about the theme than i was for up! I decided on it only this week, and so now just checking my photo archives to make sure it is workable! Expect hints by the end February π

Upbeat you are, a good ending, Becky! Alas Iβm a bit downbeat as the month ends, but WabiSabi perhaps? https://suejudd.com/2021/01/31/an-abandoned-cupboard-squareup-31/

That’s great to hear. Such a spirit lifter! A couple of my UK friends have birthdays this month and it always provokes more interaction. They were due to come over last September. Now who knows when? Sending hugs, Sue π€π

Better still that after a short while on the landline, we got chatting on FaceTime….much better to be able to see each other!

Fabulous effort from you this month, hon! Thanks so much for your patience and tolerance, and for being a genuinely nice lady. That last image is worthy of a place in an art gallery. Stunning! π π

Can you believe Perth finally gone into lockdown for five days
A security guard caught it from a quarantine hotel and he was an uber driver as well π±

Yes I saw on the news Western Australia was in lockdown – somewhat shocked by that however at least your authorities respond quickly and decisively. It is tough but it is far better than being in the position we are in here in England

What a beautiful way to finish the month, Becky. Let’s hope that by April things are much improved. Thank you for hosting again in January. I’ve had a great time revisiting our trip to Carnarvon Gorge.

Lovely upright masts there Becky! It’s been fun popping in every now and again this month and seeing how you and everyone else have been creating their squares and finding ways to make them fit the prompt ‘up’! Thanks for all your hard work.

Of course, there’s always the view that “red sky in the morning, sailors take warning”. I prefer your interpretation! π Thanks again for another month of thinking in squares.

Do you know it never seems to be true in the Algarve that saying, and increasingly I am noticing the same in England. Most strange, but like you I am more than happy as I find a sunrise very motivating
