It’s another birthday today, my eldest step daughter. She’s going to be a fabulous 40! Where on earth have the years gone? I so wish Robert was here to join me today to wish her a Happy Birthday. This weekend she is catching up with her sister, and she has party plans for next weekend, but hopefully I will be seeing her wonderful self soon to celebrate.

Still at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens

Remember I am not expecting anyone to share a daily walk. I’ll be happy if you just join me weekly or simply pop in occasionally with your squares and comments. Your support has been helping me so much.

  1. I love that little alcove you’ve captured. It’s full of promise, like turning 40, or seeing a treasured relative.

  2. I often ask myself that same question, Becky. Indeed – where have the years gone? Our girls are of a similar age and I just have to shake my head. Sir Harold Hillier Gardens looks like such a lovely place 🥰

    1. thanks Cee, and she has had a marvellous day. Just got off the phone, she’s had a walk, gone round the museum, had a massage and is now out to dinner 😀

  3. That garden is certainly giving you lots of pleasure and us too. My daughter is 46 next week, it’s scary how fast time goes by, I can remember clearly her 18th birthday.
