Hopefully everyone is aware, but just in case you have missed it today’s the first day of Winchester Heritage Open Days. We are now in our fifth year, and this year is going to be extra special, as for first time ever we are going to be offering online events as well as in person events.

Digital events include pre-recorded tours and talks, live streaming of lectures and performances, and specially commissioned films and audio. Many of which will be available on the festival’s very own YouTube and podcast channels, which means you can all participate too! The in-person events, fewer than usual because of Covid-19, will include workshops, walking tours, brewery tours and open days. Hopefully I will have more time this year to visit events myself and still stay on top of the blog. However please excuse me if I am a little bit quieter than usual over the next few days.

You can see the full programme here, so do have a look. Before you check out the programme why not listen to Nicky and I as we share why and how we got involved with Heritage Open Days!

  1. Fantastic! Not had much time but I’ve watched a couple of the videos. The library, of course! I can imagine Robert being more than happy in there 😍 Best of luck with the rest 💕💕
