Isolated in London

I haven’t quite followed Cee’s instructions for this week’s Black and White Challenge, but hope my soft focus in sepia is sufficient for it to be included! I took this the other week and at the time is struck me how isolating it would have been despite it being, at the time it was used, one of the busiest rivers in the world. I’ll share more about exactly where this is on the Thames and our London walk on Monday but for now I’m thankful capital punishment no longer exists in the UK.
