Welcome to Life of B, a personal blog. It originally began life as a place for random thoughts but over the years thanks to my Nikon lens it has turned into a photo blogging website. There are thousands of photographs on here, so if you have a moment why not explore some of my earlier musings, travel posts and photographs by selecting a month;
More recently this website has become the host for the quarterly daily blogging challenge called SQUARES. A photography challenge which is rapidly growing into a worldwide square movement. If this is the first time you have heard of Squares, click on one of the pictures below to find out more.
The shadow of a tree
It is day one of Squares, I do hope you will be joining in the fun.
Marching in a line
memory lines in Boston
Don’t let the barbed wire put you off!
Yay it is time for March Squares!
Prior to April 2022 I also enjoyed extended visits to Portugal (also see my Portuguese blog), undertaking pro bono work as the Engagement Director for Winchester Heritage Open Days, and most importantly enjoying life and travels with MrB. Sadly though in April 2022 my world was turned upside down when MrB died suddenly and unexpectedly.
I am now trying to work out my new life and so you will find there will be lengthy pauses on both blogs and also my multiple Twitter and Instagram accounts. Sometimes I cannot handle the digital world. So please bear with me if there is a pause. If you feel the pause has been overly long then you can always contact me using the form below.
By the way whilst I am happy for everyone to link their Square to my posts and/or share the links via social media, if you want to use any of my photographs or re-blog my work then contact me first using the form below.
