Welcome to Life of B, a personal blog. It originally began life as a place for random thoughts but over the years thanks to my Nikon lens it has turned into a photo blogging website. There are thousands of photographs on here, so if you have a moment why not explore some of my earlier musings, travel posts and photographs by selecting a month;
More recently this website has become the host for the quarterly daily blogging challenge called SQUARES. A photography challenge which is rapidly growing into a worldwide square movement. If this is the first time you have heard of Squares, click on one of the pictures below to peruse some of the 2020 entries.
Remember the theme is ‘words ending in light’, so you can be very creative in this month’s squares!
But are these big enough she wonders?!
Did you get the telegram? The gallery opens today, and I’m off to have lunch with Debbie and Sue
When I am not hosting Squares, I am talking to the cat, learning to be an anti-racist, enjoying extended visits to Portugal (also see my Portuguese blog), undertaking pro bono work as the Engagement Director for Winchester Heritage Open Days, and most importantly enjoying life and travels with MrB.
I try and post something most weeks, but sometimes life does take over and you may find there will be lengthy pauses on both blogs and also my multiple Twitter and Instagram accounts. Sometimes I do just have to turn off the digital world! So please bear with me if there is a pause. If you feel the pause has been overly long then you can always contact me using the form below.
By the way whilst I am happy for everyone to link their Square to my posts and/or share the links via social media, if you want to use any of my photographs or re-blog my work then contact me first using the form below.
