Tickled pink by Square in September

What an wonderful September we have had; fun, busy, varied, interesting, historical, intriguing, inspiring and occasionally very stressful. But most importantly it has been gloriously PINK! I have had a fabulous time, and hope you have too.

Today I thought I’d share a few of my pink again as well as a gallery of some of last week’s amazing squares. You may need to plan multiple cups of coffee, there are at least sixty different gallery participants. If you can visit everyone I will be tickled pink and you are extraordinary, but if you don’t have much time and can only visit a few or one section that’s absolutely fine. I still think you are awesome!

So I am returning to where I started

Flamingos! I seem to have a quite a thing about flamingos; I have numerous cards, books, glasses, mugs, clips, garden sculptures, an umbrella, loads of photographs and even a flamingo shaped holder for sellotape! They are, I think, a fascinating bird, and we are so lucky to be able to see them regularly in the Algarve. They have also been perfect for this month’s Square in September, which maybe explains why so many appear in tomorrow’s pink gallery finale.

2018’s penultimate pink Square in September

It may be nearly 15years ago but walking on squeaky pristine white sand after a morning sailing on a tall ship in the beautiful Whitsundays is a memory that feels like it was only made a few months ago. Australia is an incredible country, no wonder I was ‘tickled pink‘ for most of my adventures there.

I kept a travel journal for my ’round the world’ trip, and whilst I cannot recreate Jude’s wonderful prose from a trip to Lake Geneva, I can share a journal snippet from this particular day on Whitehaven Beach which will hopefully, especially if you know what I was wearing, make the Six Word Saturday gang laugh!
