My other blog is a blog all about Portugal, sharing travel memories and advice from our extended stays. Our Portuguese base since 2013 has been in Olhão, a small fishing town on the south coast. It is less than 20minutes drive from Faro – the only airport and capital of the Algarve, Portugal’s Other Kingdom. We love it there as the weather is generally great even in winter, there are some wonderful restaurants in Olhão, it probably has the best fish market around and there is great bird watching just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. We have also found it a great location for touring the Algarve and Alentejo and is only a train ride from Lisbon.
Posts appear every every two or three days when we are living in Portugal and fortnightly or less when I am back in England. There’s a focus on nature, hiking and city adventures and perfect for those who enjoy photography, are a birder, a botanist, love Portugal and/or are planning a trip there soon! I’d love it if you joined me at Becky in Portugal.
