This was taken on one of those walks I hadn’t planned, I just let my feet take me. It is something I do quite often now. One of the many changes in my life since my world turned upside down in April. I suspect everyone on this train had planned their journey.

En route to London

Are your walking routes planned or do you just follow your nose? I guess it depends on why you are walking, and reflecting on the variety and fabulousness of your #WalkingSquares there are multiple reasons for your walking journeys.

  1. It’s been quite a long time for me to just wander around in my city, without worrying about the time or someone’s waiting for me back at home.
Can’t do a longer version, so may have to rely on for a smaller one šŸ™‚

  2. Hi dear Becky B, I’m so glad you took this trip and brought Squares back this month. My post will come out on Wednesday highlighting one of the few walking trails I’ve been on this month. Lots of love to you as you walk along on your journey. It is full of beauty.

    1. It’s not easy but once you have done it a few times it does become easier – how about having one day a month when you don’t plan!

    1. ah now that sounds like Robert and I and our Portuguese walks. We always had the overall route in our heads but could be diverted by birds, by the weather or even the state of the footpath. The diversions always added something šŸ™‚ going to miss walking with him there so much, but hopefully next year I will be able to take his daughters on one of his favourite walks out there

      1. I like that about walking. One never knows quite what will happen. I hope you do go back to Portugal. It seems like a place that means so much to you.
