Hee hee, sorry! Still you’ve got an amazing autumn ahead
Oh yes 🥰
Lovely photo Becky 🙂
Thanks Brian, was fortunate to be sitting right underneath 🙂
Glad it fortunate and not unfortunate 😂
hee hee, that’s very true!
Happy spring, Becky. What a lovely shot!
thank you so much, and wishing you a very Happy Spring too 🙂
That’s a beautiful capture! I haven’t seen a swallow since we moved here. I will have to see if any of them live in this area. We have terns at beaches and they are sea swallows, but I think they may live further inland. What a handsome fellow he is, too!
thank you so much, I was so pleased to get this shot. He was just above my head

I never see swallows here. In fact I think I have only seen them in Scotland! Swifts and House Martins and Sand Martins yes, but not swallows.
How strange they are avoiding Cornwall, although numbers over the past 5 years have fallen dramatically 😦
Wonderful to have them again 🙂
It really is 🙂
Gorgeous portrait of this swallow. I see blue skies again 😀 😀
I took this one the day before the dust arrived 🙂
How appropriate! Tomorrow is the first day of Spring here!
and here too 🙂
Happy spring, Becky!
Thanks Terri, hope the signs of spring are arriving with you too
Spring and blossoms 🌸 come closer to April, but the snow has melted except for in the mountains 😁
yay for the snow melt!
Wonderful. We’ve got a l-o-n-g wait yet.
Thanks Margaret 🙂 they have been here a few weeks so hopefully not too long before the English and Welsh ones make it to you
I imagine they stay with you in Portugal year round?
Surprisingly not, they head south in the late summer like the English ones. It is just they arrive back much earlier.
