The Saharan dust arrived in Portugal yesterday, and is still here. The air quality isn’t great, but it is having a fascinating effect on the photography!

Scanning the comments it appears whatever I’d say about your photo would be redundant. 🙂 We have lots of dust here in Arizona but so far in the 2 years we’ve been here, we’ve escaped the terrible dust storms I’ve seen pictures of, when the entire sky is dark higher than any skyscraper and the instructions if driving are to pull over as far of the road as possible, turn off your lights, set the parking brake and keep your foot off the brake pedal, stay in the vehicle.   8. I’ve shared photos of sahara air as well but being further in the north it is never so pronounced. That windmill really looks great dressed in sepia.

    1. Be grateful you didn’t get it as bad! Has been an extraordinary experience but also very weird and has prevented us from walking as much as we’d hoped.
