If you have not yet joined in the fun of the Squares Challenge this month, we are looking for square photographs that are;
- Differing from the usual or not happening often (ie oddballs, the exceptions and follies)
- Separated from its set or mate (eg odds and ends or maybe odd socks or shoes)
- Not divisible exactly by two (ie an odd number such as 17) or the number is unknown (ie 70 odd birds)
- Or simply something that you find odd, afterall oddness like beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Love the colors and the brightness. It’s a view that screams southern Europe to me. I have some dwellings today, too: https://grahamsisland.com/2022/02/17/hilton-and-grass-roofs/

Ha! They matched the frame of the window with the colour of the sky perfectly. I wonder if there is sand close by with exactly that yellow colour.

ooh hadn’t thought of that – the sand isn’t this colour, but the soil in the hills is!

What a beautiful row of houses. In Olhao?

So these ones are in Castro Marim, a small town on the Portuguese/Spanish border. You’d find this style though in nearly every village/town in the Algarve.
