I wondered if I would ever find a home for these and finally today in an Oddly Squared Six Word Saturday they have found a place. There are always oddities to be found in a museum, and in fact everywhere in February for Square Odds!

And we’re back! Funny and odd, but probably not creepy. Or maybe it is. It can be hard to tell π

Definitely creepy! I used to have nightmares about creatures caught in a bottle. I’ve gotten so over-sensitive about animals, I can’t bear exhibits with stuffed previously-living animals in them. You win today’s creepy crown!

oh no sorry – hope I didn’t cause you any nightmares. This is definitely a left over from museum curating of days gone past

You are not alone in finding them a bit creepy. Definitely an odd find in an otherwise modern museum

Definitely odd. Creepy and fascinating! My odd today is my son and his best friend at the local bookstore, last year. https://anthropologist.wordpress.com/2022/02/05/squareodds-6-keplers-bookstore-mothers-day-2021/

Yes, there are some great oddities in museums and some rather sad ones, too apparently. Here’s mine today: https://grahamsisland.com/2022/02/05/shoes-on-a-wire/
