Last weekend we enjoyed globetrotting memories from squares in March 2019 and I focused on squares, today I thought I’d take a peek at the other half of that March theme – circles. This square was special then, and remains special to this day.

It’s the fabulous carpenter bee, and over the next few days I am going to be as busy as a bee, and in fact it is unlikely tomorrow I will be able to respond to many comments or pingbacks. However by Sunday morning, our final day of Past Squares I will have joined this bee and emerged into the Portuguese sunshine. Well maybe sunshine, the forecast for our first few days looks a tad damp! Anyhow whatever the weather before I leave and once I arrive I look forward to catching up with you and all your fabulous squares.
I’m doubling up today. Another nostalgic trip back in time: https://anthropologist.wordpress.com/2021/10/29/past-squares-22-london-december-2018/

Thank you so much Cee, just completed the final Covid19 paperwork and so can do the final bit of packing – which is weighing all the luggage and then getting laptop into carry on!

What a very excellent photo of the carpenter bee. And bon voyage with flags and fanfares.

thank you so very much – wish we had all the helpers than the Edwardians and Victorians had when they went on their voyages!

I bet you are after a hectic three months! Maybe postpone any further challenges until February!

Two great minds thinking alike again, about 10 days ago decided to delay the next Squares to February – although that might be a challenge as we will be to and fro’ing from Portugal then as unfortunately our temporary residency cards won’t enable us to stay longer than 90days after all. Still I like to add challenges to my challenges!

Perhaps my suggestion that this should have been your swansong was a good one after all?

A combination Up Square and a Six Word Saturday post. Surprisingly popular s it’s a bit abstract and gloomy:

So do I but looks unlikely there will be sunshine until Monday – still at least we won’t be leaving sunshine. Forecast for weekend isn’t looking great anywhere!

Oh well, at least until then it will be a change of scenery which is always welcome. π
