You may have spotted this one in the day one gallery on my home page as it is one of my most visited square posts. Not 100% sure if it is because of the square or the fact that many of you like to link back to the first day of squares. Whatever the reason for its popularity, being in the top five provides me with a great excuse to share it again today, as we celebrate Past Squares. I rather like it too!

By the way if you haven’t already joined us for Past Squares this month, there is still plenty of time to share your own memories, personal favourites, leftover squares and also have fun with Square themes you have always wanted to try. You will find plenty of inspiration in the latest gallery, and if you want to check out the instructions visit Past Delights – the only rule you need to remember though is that your image must be Square.
Hi Becky B, I forgot to include your link, so I updated my post. I think my brain has Deep Vein Thrombosis! 🙂

It feels like such a long time since any of have actually been anywhere. Bring on holidays anywhere I say.

Not long for me now – just beginning to panic about what I have not remembered to pack or organise!

Panic packing is (usually) the only kind I know 😂

Not an option when you are taking so many odd items like we are!

I have a shot of the US Flag with a vietnam war era helicopter. Makes a huge statement.

That’s a very striking composition, Becky. All the subtle shadow lines too, provoking thoughts of metaphorical inferences. I’m orange squaring today:

thank you Tish – think I spent as long in this huge space looking up as I did in parts of the museum! The light and shadows were amazing that day

It’s a great shot – the sun, the blue skies, the shadow lines all go to make it worth another look.
