A brand new photograph for today’s Past Squares and one I took only a couple of weeks ago when I was in Taunton, Somerset. The outskirts of the town may be a traffic nightmare but in the centre you find yourself stepping back, or even spinning into the past.

Thank you to everyone who has left a comment as well as a pingback on my square postsConversations with you make the challenge so much more fun, and I love visiting your pingbacks. They, along with the #PastSquares, also help me create our Square galleries

  1. Just think, all our ancestral mothers (prior to the factory system) would had to do a lot of spinning like this. I also love the different layers in this photo – foreground, house interior, and view through the back door/window – a metaphor to match your title.
