After days in Portugal enjoying their trees, I thought I return today to England and take you into a English wood. We only recently begun exploring this wood on the edges of Stockbridge Down and it is fast becoming a favourite place to escape to. It also happens to be small enough so you can see both the wood and the trees! By the way if you are ever out and about in the UK and wondering what the tree is in front of you, there’s a great app created by The Woodland Trust which will help you identify them. here’s a short video telling you more.
Beautiful! I would love to be there, Becky! 🙂

I could do with an app like that in AU!
I love those woodland paths that lead one deeper into sun-dappled green. 🙂

You need to get Brian’s number he could probably tell you every tree!

I need an American version of that app! I never know what plants are. I know most of the trees we see often, but there are a lot of trees about which i know nothing.

There is one here in the US, my daughter uses it. I can ask her tomorrow what the name of the app is.

Did you check this square? Some people seem to be having a problem viewing the post. All my posts are automatically posted on my Facebook page but I had to manually add this one.

Thanks Becky. I don’t know if it’s a WordPress or a Facebook bug so I’m going to forget about it unless it happens again.
