Not long to go now before Jude introduces us to a different colour, but still plenty of time to enjoy silver and white this month. Today I thought I’d share ‘Juliene’ as Jude is also after suggestions for a white clematis.

This lovely clematis is in my garden, although this shot I must admit is from last year. It is still at the bud stage today and with our current weather unlikely to bloom before the end of the month.
Beautiful, Becky. Who cares if it’s last year’s shot? If we could only post today’s photos, my blog wouldn’t have gotten very far. 🙂

The best thing about photographing flowers is that they then remain something gorgeous to look at all year round.

It does look good. Pure white and pretty coloured anthers (I think it is Juliane) and Group 3 so easy to look after. Thanks for showing me what she looks like.

I don’t see white clematis very often. This photo of yours is beautiful Becky. 😀

Very pretty. Mine is long gone and even got broken off and ….well we will see if it comes back. New plants have a hard time around here.

Thanks Jo, and yes so do I. Could you grow one at your place, or would it not cope in summer?

Marie had a Montana successfully climbing her back garden wall. I’ve never seen another variety here and I don’t think I’d even attempt it 😦 😦

What a stunning bloom. I’ve often thought I would like to have a clematis but never got around to it. I must look for one next time we’re at the garden shop.

Make sure you get one that doesn’t require much work. Some need loads of pruning attention and the pruning time can be critical. I’ve got caught out with previous ones!
