Magnificent! How did you get so close?
It is at a bird of prey centre and so fortunately they are quite used to humans taking photos 🙂
That’s right, I remember that you have that wonderful reserve near you! It is marvellous for us that we can vicariously visit these stunning birds!
Tee Hee! I was thinking on the same lines as Graham. It’s a magnificent portrait though, Becky 🙂 🙂
hee hee well I did take them all at the same place on the same day!
Looks like you’ve become enraptored with those birds of prey. Sorry, couldn’t resist!

hee hee I am indeed 😀 not difficult when there’s a magnificent bird of prey centre down the road.
Has that been there long?
Since the 1960s as an animal sanctuary, became a National Bird of Prey Hospital in the 1990s before forming the Trust at the start of this century. Their focus now is conservation, education and research on a global scale. Quite an extraordinary place
Beautiful close-up of this magnificent raptor.
Thank you so much 😀
Are you starting a new challenge? I love this portrait. Splendid!!! 😀
Not intentionally, just happens to be a way of keeping the blog alive whilst i take a breather – however Margaret has asked I keep going into next month so who knows what might happen!!
YOu got two votes now 😀
Good job I had a sort then yesterday in the folders!!
Thank you 😀
Thank you 🙂 have yet to organise the June ones but hopefully might keep it going for another month.
I think you are becoming a bit obsessive about powerful birds of prey Becky…..but I love ’em 🙂 🙂
If you saw how many photos I took over the few hours we were there . . . . . . . .
Thank goodness for an 8GB SD Card 😀 😀
I have a 32GB card when in Portugal!!
And when I cannot download them onto the computer when we are travelling I always select a few from each day to copy to phone just in case!
Another handsome boy!
thank you 🙂
Thanks 🙂 they are so photogenic I think
