Inspired by Jude ‘Life in Colour‘ and by Debbie’s ‘Six Word Saturday‘ I have been searching for a purple bonus with a sense of movement. And I found this!

Be eccentric now. Don’t wait for old age to wear purple.

Mum says purple is an ageing colour and will not wear it, and she is allergic to blue dye so that has already cut down her options! I’ve always liked purple.

How about gold for her, it will match you in purple!

I have to admit I rarely wear purple, but do have a great sense of eccentricity!

If not now then …..when? I’m all for now: to being in purple or being eccentric or whatever else.

I’m too old to not get old. But I’m wearing purple earrings today. Goes nicely with my dark pink (not HOT, just dark) shirt and jeans. I used to have a dozen purple sweaters but they have gone to other homes. They were wool and these days, they just make me itch!

I have a friend who loves purple and who uses that quote all the time. 🙂 I wasn’t expecting this, though, because the reader showed the butterfly in the header photo. I’ve also combined these two challenges today. Always fun to be able to do that. Hope you’re being fabulous (but of course you are!)

Fabulous post. But I always remember a friend saying ‘Very ageing, purple. Just don’t wear it if you don’t want to look haggard’. And in my case, she’s right, though I don’t think it’s a general rule.

Hee hee, yes I think it should be wear a bold colour, that way you can choose the perfect shade for your skin colour.

Exactly. Is ‘haggard brown’ a colour?

Cee, offered me a purple wig the other day. Fetching 🙂 🙂

if the wig doesn’t suit there is always the purple rinse option – you could bring it back into fashion!!

Currently I’m in gold, Becky. Well, one of the shades between yellow and orange anyway! That’s fabulous, I think. Not wore purple for years though! 🤣
