Mum is very lucky!
Almost like a watercolour painting! Gorgeous
Thank you so much 🙂 always difficult to capture the detail and colour
You can never go wrong with a lovely sunset like this! Truly wonderful Becky!
awww thank you 🙂
Aaargh…not ‘musts’, that was supposed to read ‘image’
that keyboard of yours is almost as naughty as Jo’s!!
Not my keyboard…neurologically compromised digits on my right side!
I’d blame the keyboard xxx
Nah, I don’t tell porkies!
Glastonbury Tor musts lifts the sunset image a notch further
thank you so much – was struggling to capture it as it is actually quite a distance from Mum’s, but got there in the end!
I’ll have to share a shot of what it looks like with the naked eye
ooh that’s a thought
ooh ignore this, I read this as using a pinhole camera!! It is a tad bigger than pinprick. I organise the shot
What a sunset and a view. We’re off to stay near Wells for a week. Any tips on what to see in the area, other than the cathedral and Bishop’s Gardens?
ooh how marvellous. Assuming you have looked up all the gardens?
So other thoughts there’s the steam railway not that far away and of course Stourhead and Bath are easy to get to.
Been to Stourhead and Bath, so looking for other places.
Longleat, Glastonbury, Wookey Hole – have to admit we tend just to chat to Mum or go to gardens and garden centres!!!
We’ll probably end up just driving around as you have to prebook everything and I am reluctant to do so until I know what the weather is like! I have however booked to visit Margery Fish’s garden at East Lambrook Manor. Which could be dangerous as it has a nursery.
hee hee maybe i should send my Mum there before you go and then they won’t have any plants left so you will be safe!!
Let me know the dates as you never know we might be in the area.
Oh, a great photo! In a previous life, my ex-parents-in-law lived in Glastonbury, and many happy hours were spend scrambling up that Tor with two energetic toddlers – who are both now in their forties….
How fabulous 🙂 it is a scramble up for any age!!
I’m thinking, ‘you can’t see Glastonbury Tor from Winchester.’ You must be out and about then. Lovely sunset regardless.
hee hee I was at my Mum’s 🙂
I climbed Glastonbury Tor in 1979. It must be great to be able to see it from your own garden.
My mum is very fortunate 🙂
Lovely end to a day, Becky. I see you can’t resist blogging even when I thought you were sort of taking a break. 🙂 I don’t mind though.
hee hee I know I am hopeless, although as you can see by the timing of my response I am not checking in daily, so guess that is something!!
I know what you feel, though. I’m leaving Tuesday for a driving trip back to Illinois to visit friends and I contemplated just explaining and going dark, but instead I have post scheduled for the next week. 🙂
scheduling is our secret life saver 🙂
I love it and even more so now that WP finally brought back a way to tell if you already have a post scheduled on a day.
Ooh have they? That’s fantastic
PS enjoy the trip xx
Thanks. I’m looking forward to it but working like mad to clean and get everything else done before I leave. I know in two weeks it will be in dire need of cleaning again (not really my husband’s thing even when not working and cycling) but at least it will be less dirty/messy than if I hadn’t clean. 🙂
Oh I’m glad I’m not the only one who cleans before going away!
That’s a wow Becky 🙂 🙂
awww thanks Brian – my Mum lives in a great location 🙂
Amazing, such beautiful colours
thank you 😀
Lovely. Just lovely! 😺
awww thanks 🙂
Really? From the end of your garden? No, must be Mum’s? Beautiful, anyway 🙂 🙂
You are correct it is Mum’s 🙂
Hope she’s keeping well 🙂 🙂

Oh how very beautiful Becky. I hope you are having a great week. 😀
Busy but good 😀 and lots of gardening done
PS really hope to see you later. I will be leaving hairdressers around 3:30pm (8:30am your time) and it is about a 40minute drive back so fingers crossed!
