Even on a grey day there is something about just sitting still and watching the birds, whether they are in your garden, in the park or beside the sea. It is a great way to be uplifted for a minute or two, or even for a hour or three!

As regular squarers will know I am pretty relaxed about this quarterly challenge. You can join me posting squares daily or simply pop by as and when suits you and your blog. You can interpret the theme of up strictly, or let it take you somewhere random. Your photographs can be brand new or from the archives. It really is up to you! The only thing I do ask is that your photographs are square, and that means 4 equal sides. However even I occasionally add a rectangle to the mix, but only when it is in the minority!

      1. you weren’t in spam – that is just weird. I wonder where the pingback has gone because as you say the actual link works.

      2. I am going to set it up so your Cornwall posts appear in my notifications. I’ve done that with Sue and Brian and it has made such a difference

    1. This is so cool! Once I was leaving a wildlife refuge as it was getting dark, and I stopped to watch the masses of Canadian geese honking and circling toward the water. It really was magical. I get the same sense from your pictures.
