Even on a grey day there is something about just sitting still and watching the birds, whether they are in your garden, in the park or beside the sea. It is a great way to be uplifted for a minute or two, or even for a hour or three!

As regular squarers will know I am pretty relaxed about this quarterly challenge. You can join me posting squares daily or simply pop by as and when suits you and your blog. You can interpret the theme of up strictly, or let it take you somewhere random. Your photographs can be brand new or from the archives. It really is up to you! The only thing I do ask is that your photographs are square, and that means 4 equal sides. However even I occasionally add a rectangle to the mix, but only when it is in the minority!

All wonderful, but they started to look like punctuation marks, in search of a page. Do you think I should be concerned?

Wonderful to see flocks of birds flying by. We see the Canada Geese in the thousands here by our little lake each winter.

I love watching birds go about their business. Something quite relaxing about it, maybe we just get absorbed in their lives and forget about ours for a moment. I think I need to adjust my links, not sure it showed up today though it does lead to your correct post.

you weren’t in spam – that is just weird. I wonder where the pingback has gone because as you say the actual link works.

This is so cool! Once I was leaving a wildlife refuge as it was getting dark, and I stopped to watch the masses of Canadian geese honking and circling toward the water. It really was magical. I get the same sense from your pictures.
