I was so busy with the festival at the beginning of this month that I missed Debbie’s Three ‘One Word Sunday’, fortunately though I spotted yesterday she is still having fun with the ‘How Many‘ series. So I thought I would throw three of a kind into the mix.

I also thought a few numbers might inspire more of you to join in with October Squares from Thursday. As well as three of a kind, there’s two of a kind, multiple kinds and one of a kind. I really did mean what we said on Saturday ‘kinda anything goes’, well almost . . . . your photograph must still be square in shape even if the tag is #kindasquare!
If numbers are not your thing then here are some other thoughts for how you might participate in October’s benevolently catalogued squares;
- Something of the kind (similar to something, maybe a carbon copy)
- Our imagination kindled (inspire us!)
- Of its kind (a unique object or an example of many things)
- Kindred spirits (kindness in action or photographs of people)
- Take kindly to (something you like)
I know quite a few of you are ready to start on Thursday, which is just fabulous. I, on the other hand, am still getting myself organised, and there’s also my email mountain to sort. The problem is I keep getting distracted by festival videos and also videos on my own laptop. Why not get distracted with me and check this one out, make sure you have the sound on!
So cool! Nice photos! 🙂

Fun sheep and a great addition to the how many series, Becky. The only problem is that every time I start counting I fall asleep!
Anyway, I’m looking forward to the squares tomorrow – here’s to a fun month.

I love listening to those sheep bells. Kinda musical.

One of the highlights of walking in the Algarvian hills. I always challenge myself to see if I can spot which ones have the bells!

The sheep in our bit of the Pyrenees had no bells, but many of the cattle did.

Also / sounds like a super fun theme with the “kind” as the root!
And I am going to o try and join everyday in October – that is huge for me because I am more of a thrice a week blogger –
But if I schedule a few and combine a few challenges I think it could be an October #kindasquare month to remember!

That would be amazing. Can’t wait to see what you create, and combinations and scheduling are definitely the way to go!

Sounds like someone’s still busy, Becky. 🙂 The museums were free in Tavira this weekend and Galeria Palace had a beautiful exhibition in aid of 500 years as a city.

Are the bells on the sheep, Becky? If so, when they start baaing they’re all kinda coming up with their own song! 😄 Lots of different tones there to work with! 🙂
