So when I read somewhere that one ‘kind’ of ivy has black seeds and another the colour of saffron. I fixated on the word ‘kind’ and thought ooh how about a square of ivy to promote October Squares in today’s Six Word Saturday. After all kinda anything goes as long as it is square from Thursday!

love learning these nature facts 🙂

Good ivy to photograph, not so great for tiles and guttering!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this sort of ivy before (or didn’t realize it was ivy.) 🙂

It’s a fabulous ivy but does get incredibly big so not good on roofs!

Although ivy looks good on buildings, it’s really quite bad for them. Sigh.

i know . . .read somewhere they now think it is okay on the sides of buildings but just mustn’t be allowed to reach the roofs. Problem is of course it doesn’t know that!!

Don’t worry so am I! I had 35 shots but after going through them this morning I’ve whittled them down to 25, so now short!!

It does look kinda pretty even though the berries aren’t showing yet.

I’ll have to head back when the berries appear!

Good question. Traveling. I’m not sure of specific area but out to the east coast. Not my idea of fun unless I can walk the clifftops 🙂 🙂

Not a bad area to travel around. Home visits? I see Leeds is in lockdown now. Where will this end! 😕

Yes, I think so. Ok if the weather is decent, but that’s always a problem traveling. Not a clue! My very last prospective visitor for November has just cancelled and a few are not even thinking next year! The airline industry may not survive at this rate. Got a birthday plan? 🙂 🙂

Meal booked at the Godolphin overlooking St Michael’s Mount. Maybe a hotel away for the weekend mid October in Falmouth.

Nice! 🙂 🙂 Is this a ‘special’ birthday- I’ve lost count? Not that they aren’t all special at our age!

Nah! Just one of the inbetweeners. I really can’t be bothered these days, but it’s also our anniversary so we try to make an effort.
