Not really considered before how delphiniums look before they are in full flower! They are such a gorgeous flower. Please don’t ask me which type they are. I have so far considered Black Knight, Magic Fountains, Excalibur Dark Blue Black Bee and varying hybrids but I haven’t got a clue! Maybe Jude, Susan or Margaret can offer a gardener’s perspective?
And talking of perspectives a huge thank you to everyone who has joined us already. As of yesterday there were more than 50 of us taking part, and the variety of perspectives has been inspirational. If you have not yet created a square, here’s a reminder of how this month’s blogging challenge works;
I will be sharing a square daily and I’d love it if you did the same. You can though join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and your blog. The only absolute rule for joining in is that your main photograph must be square in shape!
The theme for July is perspectives, and your Square could contain;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time

Please note pingbacks do need to be approved, which means occasionally there can be a small delay in your link appearing in the comments. I aim to visit every pingback/link, so if I have not commented on your post within 36 hours of you posting let me know.

Even an expert delphinium grower would struggle to identify them, but they are are beautiful no matter their name.

Hi Becky, I found your challenge on Terri’s Sunday Stills and Cee’s response to both of your challenges. I added your challenge to my resource page of photo challenges. tchistorygal.net/blogging-skills/photo-challenges/.
