Not long to go now before Squares is upon us. How are you getting on with preparing your squares with the theme of perspective? Have you been looking at things from a different angle, maybe you’ve been moving further away or perhaps observing over time.

“Sometimes you need to look at life from a different perspective.”
I am sure many of you will be up bright and early as I was in my first hint and I am hoping everyone will be able to put a smile on our faces and look on the bright side of life as I did in my second. Or maybe April will be the month when you indulge us with a month of bright and colourful squares. As you can see there is so much we can do with the theme of bright!
Hopefully today’s post will inspire plenty of bright ideas. I will probably share more bright synonyms and phrases before my opening square on the 1st April, as I really want you all to join me again. January was such fun!
As always during a square month I will share squares daily. If daily sounds daunting, don’t worry. It is okay to join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and your blog. The only absolute rule for joining in from 1st April is that your photograph must be bright and square!
To join us create your square post, and include a pingback to one of my daily square posts and use the theme’s tag – SquarePerspectives. I’d love it if you also left a comment, conversations with you make the challenge so much fun.
Now to get you started here are a few perspective definitions;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time

The challenge begins on Wednesday 1st July. I do hope you can join us. Please do remember though whilst every square is a rectangle only four equal sides make a rectangle a square. So one of my pics wouldn’t make it into the square gallery!
I still have to get the thinking cap on.. 😉

I shall see what I can contribute, Becky. I can’t promise every day, but I’m sure I’ll be able to come up with something! 👀🙂

I have another road trip to feature, but I’m undecided on how to go about linking with the theme. I’m thinking…
