Hee hee, look what I found in my archives. Hopefully you, unlike the previous owner whose plight it was, will find it more of a Monday motivation than an actual blight!

I wonder if she decided this pair of shoes was too uncomfortable to wear again and disposed of them with glee.

We were moving that weekend to a new place and the new school uniform was completely different colours, so she just laughed fortunately!

It is isn’t it . . I love the museum where it is as they have everything out. So it is a bit like opening an encyclopedia at any page, you never know quite what you will learn!

I love this historic stuff like crazy! I can’t stop looking and wondering what it was like to be in those shoes. Women back then had absolutely no rights. She probably wore that same pair of shoes for decades. ughghg…https://365daysblog.com/

Fab, I need a bit of warming up. We are having our fourth frosty morning in a row – still can’t complain because at least the colder days = clear skies!

Warming up a bit today according to the weather people. I don’t mind frost as long as there some sun with it.

Looks like snow here rather than frost here this morning, so very grateful there is sun today!

I think they have just said that so everyone knows which building they are referring to, as the building would have been a private home originally.

Some people are a light, that’s what I went with for my square today: https://wp.me/p2owKx-1pn
Also, I feel a bit bad for the original owner of that shoe!
Cheers, Amy

Fascinating isn’t it . . and so fortunate they have one of the UK’s longest running shoemakers just down the road to advise.

That’s definitely a well worn shoe! I wonder how much good luck it brought?
