It might be autumnal in the north hemisphere, but it is spring in the south. So I thought I’d share spring lines alongside my weekly reminder of this month’s squares theme.
Your lines can be long, short, straight or curvy. They might be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, perpendicular or even zig zag. You might prefer them intersecting, natural, singular or in stripes. Whatever your line everyone is welcome in square photographs!
Here’s how squares works:
- Create your line square post, and include a pingback to one of my daily square posts
- You can also add a link to your post in the comments on my post
- To make it easy for others to find you and to generate interest across the web do include this month’s tag lines&squares
- Many of us post daily but you can also post weekly, sporadically or even all 31 in one go at the end of the month.
Remember there is only the ONE challenge rule,
your main photograph must be square in shape!
Pretty flowers! We’re just beginning the fall weather here, which I love, but wish we could go right back to spring and skip winter. 🙂

The people of Portugal do seem to be so good at festivals. And it’s good to think about spring while one’s getting over hump-making weather here. I’m back to historic Shropshire today – rather gloomy pix but a v. fascinating location: timbered lines – https://tishfarrell.com/2019/10/22/how-to-look-like-a-lord-in-the-13th-century-build-yourself-a-castle/

I’m intrigued by this. It looks like French lavender, nigella foliage and daisies. Where was it taken?

It was in Portugal in April, they create carpets of spring flowers for a festival.
