Lovely capture of the macro flower. And the marvelous ant! I had to look to find him. 🙂
Hee hee, hiding away with his black fly brood!
Lovely! The ant seems to have good company…🙃
Have to own up his company was swiftly removed by me!
More than one by the looks of it! Beautiful colours in this photo.
I know, the cheek of it!!
Beautiful shot. Naughty title.
Hee hee, it’s what I shouted out when I spotted it!!!
Fabulous shot, Becky 🙂
Thank you so much 😊
I think that’s more than one ant. Great shot, ant and all!
Thank you 😀 they had a black fly brood, very cheeky to use my clematis!
Love the colours in this!
It was a wedding present and still doing great 12ish years later 🙂
Lovely macro! At least the ant was just after the blackfly. My poor clematis are been eaten by earwigs and tiny black beetles…
oh no that’s really sad. It is easy to forget it is a vicious world in the garden some years.
Fantastic macro shot. 😊
Thank you so much. Was worried for a moment ant might leave clematis for my lens!
Glad it stayed right where it should. 😊
So am I!!
A tremendous macro shot, Becky. What gorgeous colour, and I forgive the ant for trespassing
Thank you so much Debbie. Had to stand on a step to get it!!
Great macro! I could easily imagine that the stamen (?) are tentacles in an octopussy’s garden waiting for an unsuspecitng fish …
Hee hee, yes they do look like tentacles don’t they 😊
Ever so beautiful Becky 😁
Thank you Brian . . . . been a success this year this one, began flowering in early May and still going despite the visitors!
Supply love and everything will grow
So true xx
How very dare it! 🙂 🙂 But what a beautiful shot, Becky! How are things? And happy Saturday!
And a very happy if somewhat windswept Saturday to you too 😃🍃
Life so so but the good news is that the ant has not been back since I removed the blackfly!
