I’m feeling blue . . . . .

“I haven’t made it into July squares, apparently there is insufficient blue behind me.”

The theme for July squares which begins Monday is ‘Blue‘ but hopefully you won’t feeling blue with your ears back like Septimus. Instead I am hoping you’ll be having fun over the next 31 days with squares that could;

1. be a ‘Bolt from the Blue’ – something unexpected or surprising
2. explore ‘Into the wide blue yonder‘ – sky, sea or maybe a location that is appealingly unknown and mysterious
3. simply be ‘Blue‘ – whether that’s azure, cobalt, sapphire, cerulean, navy, ultramarine, indigo, or turquoise
4. and there is an extra challenge for those of you up for it – can you manage to combine two of these, or maybe even all three?

I’ll be posting daily from Monday, but don’t worry if you cannot do the same for the next thirty-one days. There are always a few who post every other day, weekly or even just ‘once in a blue moon‘. What you must not forget though is to keep your photograph square, and if you can do pingback with #Blue and/or #JulySquares!
