It is far too long since I joined Debbie and her Six Word Saturday gang.
So I thought I’d pop by with a photo that didn’t make into my short list for next month’s square photography challenge . It may not have made it into the challenge but I love it because of the memories it evokes with these friendly Somerset cows. Although actually these were not the really friendly ones. The overly friendly ones appeared three fields later and demanded hugs. I acquiesced to their demands but Mum isn’t that keen on cows so she hopped over the stile and escaped their head butting. Happy Saturday everyone!
I like cows but I wouldn’t get too close to them anymore. These are very pretty babies though!

Hope it wasn’t a cow that broke your foot?!

I wouldn’t ever get close enough to a cow for it to step on me. π no, it wasn’t nearly that dramatic. I stepped in a hole, rolled my ankle and hey presto – two broken bones. π

oh my, reminds me of a work colleague she did the same . . .well almost the same. She managed to find two holes and so broke bones in both feet!!

Oh no, how debilitating that would have been. It’s bad enough with one.

She was off work and bored for a very long time π and all because of hunting glow worms!

I did this at work so luckily it’s covered by work insurance. I’m not bored – plenty of writing, reading and crochet to do. But I can’t drive and that’s frustrating.

Liking the fact you’re able to enjoy the creative time, not so good on being less mobile though!

Hopefully the crutches will soon be a thing of the past. That will make a difference.

We had some scary cow encounters on Islay last month. The Highland cows didnβt bother about us at all, but the others – glad to escape!

Yikes! Too me Highland are scary, so goodness knows what your others were like!

The highland ones were very placid. I think the others were hunting us π

Every time you turned round in the Azores there was a cow staring at you. I began to wonder if I had my wig on straight π π

Mmm… I’m with your mum here. Our bullocks are very inquisitive and I wouldn’t like to be knocked to the ground by them jostling around me.

I did have a slight panic when one came up behind as I was walking and kept pushing me, I had no idea she was so close!

Three herds were wonderful, but there was a fourth which was a bit too energetic! Didn’t get any photos of them!!

Small can also do damage when a bit of a playful head butt hits you
