I am in the midst of preparing for March Squares, and at the moment quite a few of my finds seem to be ending up on the cutting room floor. This is one of those I have decided not to keep until March, however I thought it would make a good prequel!
The challenge begins in ten days on Friday 1st March. I am sure you are all discovering lots of spiky squares but if you are struggling, here are a few other sharp ideas:
jagged, barbed, bristly, serrated, prickly, spiny, and pointy.
Have fun interpreting the spikiness but don’t forget there is ONE absolute rule for this daily photo challenge – your main photograph must be square.
Ahh now pointy might help!

These thistles look like they might be nasty if you accidentally touched them. Lovely photo though.

I look forward to seeing what you and others come up with, but this time I’m not going to pretend to myself I can do it! Though you never know, I might just spot something and drop in …

Hope when you did your naked rain dance you remembered my advice and avoided the thistles!

Oh yes Becky. I make sure none are growing in my garden………..it’s just the cacti that are a concern for my bits 😀 😀 😀

This isn’t a great time of year for spiky, I fear. It’s winter. Nothing is growing. Now if it were the fall, there would be all those spiky seed pods … but now? No pods. Except the ones under our beds growing our emotionless clones …

Oh this made me laugh! 😊 Hopefully you might find an icicle or perhaps a frozen snowflake for your spikiness.
