Sunshine plants 🙂

They really are 😊
Bougainvillea always makes a cheery display.
I wish I had one of my own, but our Portuguese balcony is too windy and our English garden too cold!
When we moved to Darwin in 1984 the entire front veranda of our home was covered with bougainvillea. It was so prickly and triffid-like. Mr ET spent an entire weekend removing most of it and we just had two small plants growing up the veranda posts. He now has an aversion to the plant, so I admire it when we see it but I wouldn’t grow it. 🙂
Oh!!!! I didn’t realize they came with a warning, but now I think about the ones I’ve seen that makes sense.
They can really spread but I think if you keep trimming it would be okay. I’ve seen beautiful ones in pots.
Show off! We aren’t all in warm sunny places!!
Sorry!! It is cloudy and windy today if that helps xx
Sorry! You’ve actually sent the sun here, but sadly I’m not going out today, no energy
well I am glad you have the sunshine, but sorry to hear you cannot get out today. Sending hugs and energy, and hope the sun and blue skies last all week for you xxx
Thank you, Becky. I always feel I’m wasting a day if I don’t get out on a sunny day..
Think we all do xx
Keeping my fingers crossed for you that a day of sunshine and a day when you are full of energy coincides very soon, in meanwhile enjoy the warmth through the windows xx
Ah, bless you, Becky!
