      1. When we moved to Darwin in 1984 the entire front veranda of our home was covered with bougainvillea. It was so prickly and triffid-like. Mr ET spent an entire weekend removing most of it and we just had two small plants growing up the veranda posts. He now has an aversion to the plant, so I admire it when we see it but I wouldn’t grow it. 🙂
