Today I finally got round to stepping back and photographing the complete building for them. By the way this is the back of the church!

  10. We loved our time housesitting in Portugal and aren’t the churches so beautifully decorative as is the one you captured so well!

      1. It was about an hour from the coast. We were there for about a month. We have also visited Lisbon and Porto, both wonderful cities to explore. Porto was a favourite between the two.

      2. How fabulous 🙂 yes I love Porto too but must admit I prefer Lisbon. I think because we rarely hit the tourist spots now in Lisbon and so can get away from the crowds. However if a friend could only go to one, I’d probably say Porto!

      3. I think Lisbon is newer and therefore in many ways more attractive to explore. Yes, the more you visit an area, you avoid the tourist places.
