Day sixteen of our thirty one day photography challenge, and it is another clock. Not just any old clock though, a clock with storks and a perfect blue sky. Well you did all like the last one with a stork!
All being well we are now counting down the hours to return to this scene. Do hope the skies are this blue on our return. I am also hoping that we will get to see the rather amazing event which takes place next to the church.
PS I had to share the complete picture so you could see the azulejos too!
So pretty with the blue sky, the storks, and the white building! 🙂
Here’s my entry for the day:

So glad you like. It’s one of my favourite buildings here in Olhão.
I’ll be nipping across to visit your entry later 😊 lots to catch up on this morning.

Nice to see blue sky, I think it has forgotten about us.

Lovely to have more storks, Becky. My squares today involve a cloud hedge

There seems to be a lot of clocks in Portugal and you must have captured every one!
Do hope MrB is feeling OK, but if he has the bug I caught then the first two weeks are pretty horrible. And I am still coughing, though not as bad as I was.

Working on it, clocks that is! I don’t want another bug as I’ve had it already too 😉

You did! (have to share the azulejo too 🙂 ) Mild drizzle here this morning but still 15.5C and we still went on the Todos a Caminhar walk. Without a Santa suit, but I did have a red plastc raincape. 🙂 Brightening up now so you may be lucky. The main thing is for Robert to be ok to travel. On my way to Faro for the Christmas fair this afternoon.

How was the fair? We went a few years ago and we’re a bit disappointed so hoping it has improved.
And the really good news is we did decide to fly and we made flight. He’s very tired so will have to review what we do this week though. I’ll update tomorrow re Wednesday xxx

Yes I expected that. Mick has business in Olhao so just coffee if he can’t manage more. Give him a hug from me 😃. Fair not great but don’t miss the bombeiros xxx

I love the symmetry of the nests. I wonder if storks make good neighbours? We had snow this morning and just because I had to post a rose is a rose is a rose: https://picturesimperfect2.wordpress.com/2018/12/16/time-is-time-is-time/

I think they must do as they do like nesting in groups . And yikes snow!

You have really beautiful photos, Becky, such interesting ones too. I had trouble with mine yesterday, the app kept crashing so I’ve just been able to add a link. It isn’t working well today, but I’ll have to persevere as the computer is otherwise engaged all day. https://chittlechattle.com

Thank you so very much. And oh no what a pain for you. The app is definitely a bit odd. Hope it behaves better today.

The nests look a little precarious but I’m guessing the storks know what they’re doing.

Hee hee, that’s what I keep telling myself! There’s one I can see from our apartment, the nest is now about 4ft high and it’s on a leaning chimney. Just amazed it is still there as we have such strong winds at times.

In the south of Sweden a project has been successful in reintroducing the storks and now the storks are coming back to nest every spring after many years of no nesting couples.
Love your photo!

I’m glad you showed the full. Unfortunate when squaring changes the information or effect.
