If you had joined us on Tuesday you may have noted there is a theme for everyday of the week. And as today is Thursday it means the theme should be Heritage Open Days, however I didn’t take as many photographs as usual at this year’s festival as I was either firefighting tiny problems, chatting to the general public or introducing some of our amazing speakers such as the one and only Dame Jenni Murray. I did though manage to take this one at 2TimeTheatre’s world premiere of ‘Sir Walter’s Women’, specially written for Winchester Heritage Open Days. It was a fantastic production, and doesn’t Queen Elizabeth look great in pink!

      1. Fantastic! And what a brilliant city! In the Cavern last night πŸ˜ƒ. Much walking today -surprise! – then John and Yoko exhibition at Museum of Liverpool and the Tate. Pouring this afternoon so it worked well. Going to James as there’s an hour and half in Leeds between coaches πŸ˜•

      2. Wow! You’ve got up to so much. Hopefully by now you are nearly home. Whilst you’ve been with James and travelling, I’ve been in the pub!

      3. Best laid plans! The coach was over an hour late so I didn’t get to James. An hour or so from home now. Traffic was hideous. Good thing his lordship wasn’t driving πŸ˜†

  1. I’m not sure why but I can’t click on the like button on your site. It’s happening on some other sites as well. Anyway I do like your post and thought you should know.

    1. How odd. It’s definitely there as had lots of likes today. I’ve just gone in and checked though and noticed it’s taking a few seconds to appear. Loading issue maybe? Thanks for mentioning.
