Over the past few days you must have been beginning to wonder if I had confused my roof theme with a glass theme. But no it is definitely ROOFS (or rooves if you prefer!) this month. I just had decided to share all my glass ones together. Your roof can be;
- any type, any condition, any size, and in any location.
- it could be a shot across rooftops, of one roof or even a close up of part of the roof
- you might prefer to spend some time under the eaves or in the attic
My shot today is of a roof with a difference. In fact I am not certain it really is a roof!
Still I like it, and it includes my sister :-). I also photographed my Mum and my brother at Kew, you can see them in my very first #JuneSquares. Mum is easy to spot, but you’ll have to look closely to spy my brother!
If you have not yet joined the #JuneSquares, I’d be delighted if you did. It is a daily challenge, but feel free to post alternate days, once a week or as and when the roof strikes you. There is only one rule that cannot be broken and that is your main photograph must be a square.Everything else though is up to you, after all this is an adventure not a competition with rules.
I definitely think it counts as a roof, and it is very attractive too. 🙂

Love these structures, they’re like mini bandstands, Tavira springs to mind 🙂

Here is another roof picture for today: Uberlingen roofs in Germany – The original is not square, and it’s available as art print – however, I made a square crop especially for this challege 🙂
Please see it here: http://travelartpix.com/uberlingen-roofs-germany/

It looks like a roof to me and if you stand inside, I’m sure it would definitely be a roof.

Ooh that’s true. I didn’t ask Sally what it felt like inside. I’ll ask next time I see her 😁

I don’t have too many square cropped images, but here is one – What do you think?
