Over the past few days you must have been beginning to wonder if I had confused my roof theme with a glass theme. But no it is definitely ROOFS (or rooves if you prefer!) this month. I just had decided to share all my glass ones together. Your roof can be;
- any type, any condition, any size, and in any location.
- it could be a shot across rooftops, of one roof or even a close up of part of the roof
- you might prefer to spend some time under the eaves or in the attic
My shot today is of a roof with a difference. In fact I am not certain it really is a roof!
Still I like it, and it includes my sister :-). I also photographed my Mum and my brother at Kew, you can see them in my very first #JuneSquares. Mum is easy to spot, but you’ll have to look closely to spy my brother!
If you have not yet joined the #JuneSquares, I’d be delighted if you did. It is a daily challenge, but feel free to post alternate days, once a week or as and when the roof strikes you. There is only one rule that cannot be broken and that is your main photograph must be a square.Everything else though is up to you, after all this is an adventure not a competition with rules.
Well, it is on top of a structure so I’d say it’s a roof and a very pretty one. Nicely done!

It on top, it’s round – but not much of a roof if it’s raining. But it looks beautiful.
Mine doesn’t. Not yet, at least: https://picturesimperfect2.wordpress.com/2018/06/06/another-fixer-upper/

Definitely a roof – an open air roof still classifies in my book (well I hope so because I have one for you at some stage during the month, not as glamorous as this one though).

I’m liking these Kew photos! And I think we can say this structure does have a roof, albeit not a waterproof one. 😉
