I know I took this shot in London in 2016 but for the life of me I cannot recall where! I think it was in Greenwich, can anyone enlighten me?
PS have you noticed all my roofs to date have been made out of glass. I spotted this when I was collating them ready for this month’s challenge. Must be something about glass roofs. I think this is my last one this week, albeit tomorrow’s is almost glass!
I had no idea, but I read back through the comments, so now I am enlightened. π

Not a clue, but I also like glass roofs!

I believe it’s the roof on top of the building that is the entrance to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.

Not my photo, it’s wikimedia. I pasted the URL, thinking that would appear in the comment, so was quite surprised when the photo materialised!

I figured that if anyone would recognise this roof it would be Debbie! Seems not.
A local one for you today from me: https://smallbluegreenwords.wordpress.com/2018/06/05/june-square-roofs-5/
I have think I could keep this challenge going for at least a couple of months from the archives alone, but I have got some recent images for you too.

July is my last month to get out a bit before the school holidays. So I shall try and take a rest from posting other than scheduled posts. But thank you for the offer.

I’m pretty sure that’s one of the domes over the entrances to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel. Can’t see any greenery, so I’d bet it’s the one next to the Cutty Sark? Hope this helps π

Greenwich seems a good guess, but I’m not sure either! But it’s a great square wherever it is, Becky.
Today I’ve cheated a bit with my roofs – you’ll see what I mean: https://travelwithintent.com/2018/06/05/aerial-view-of-shanghai/

I don’t know where YOU were, but that roof has been copied about a million times everywhere in this country and probably everywhere the British settled. It’s got to be a great roof because EVERYBODY copied it π

ooh you ended up in spam, and only just seen this. love the fact it has gone everywhere, and now I have discovered it is definitely in Greenwich that probably explains why. One of the main places where ships began their journeys from England!
