Oh dear I think I am suffering from #squareyes already as everything seems a little bit blurred today or is that just the header?!
How are you finding this month’s daily square challenge. Struggling or inspired? Remember there is only one rule and that is your main photo must be square. The theme #RoofSquares is there simply to inspire.Β Your roof can be;
- any type, any condition, any size, and in any location.
- it could be a shot of multiple roofs, of one roof or even a close up of part of a roof
- you might prefer to spend some time under the eaves and in the attic
- or perhaps, like today, your roof is almost hidden from sight!

And what a great entry it is. A roof I expect very few people notice.

Never mind the roof, I am quite taken with that red pelargonium. Haven’t had trailing ones in years, but recently bought some with scented leaves. Very delicate flowers too.

I love pelargoniums and must admit Mum and I did wonder if they’d notice if we ‘borrowed’ this one!

Hello Becky. I love your geranium with roof view. Am bringing roof tiles to go with your very nice pot. Happy Sunday. https://tishfarrell.com/2018/06/03/on-the-path-to-harakopio-the-putative-roof/

Your tiles are fabulous and have reminded me of a tile shot I took. Must see if I can find it!

I am loving the roof topic Becky. I’m having fun looking through my archives, and I’ll be off to find some new angles during the month.
Today I’ve got some old Azerbaijani rooftops to share: https://travelwithintent.com/2018/06/03/rooftops-of-sheki/

And yes, your shallow depth of field gives a gentle blur to the lurking roof in your square.

Thank you…… And also for the technical feedback. I knew there would be a term for what I’d created. I really must go on a course one of these days!

Today you shall see my own roof and chimney. If you don’t own the house, it’s probably not quite as depressing if you aren’t planning on fixing the chimney and getting all that crud off the roof. I think I’ve got someone to take care of the chimney and the roof, though.
