Been a while since I shared a Portuguese square. This shot of a door was taken in Faro, the capital of the Algarve.

Part of a door

Was one of the first buildings I photographed when we first visited Faro back in 2013. Nearly every visitor arrives via Faro airport but very few visit the city.

PS I had to include an extra shot today as look what has been staring me in my face at our Lisbon apartment! There’s a fabulous pair of circular ceiling lights too but I’ve overstretched my wordpress phone sharing abilities already today so I’ll save that one for my return!

    1. Yes it is. 😀

And Faro’s old town is wonderful. Tiny but lots to discover with a camera, there are also a few good museums. More of a day trip than a city break, but would make a good base for exploring further afield.
