Remember this from our wonderful Leeds trip last year? It was one of the many fabulous Tony Cragg sculptures we saw at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Thought it makes a rather unusual ‘Squared Squares’.

Terrific shot Becky
And I am so jealous – I saw one of his works in Baku and loved it but missed the exhibition in Leeds. I must remember t watch out for him appearing again.

Pure luck for us in Leeds, I’ll definitely though be keeping my eye out for future exhibitions now. Such an amazing sculptor.

🙂 I can just smile, I am just wondering I had only one dice at home and was planning to shot that one for this weeks entry, you already have taken a single shot of numerous dices and it’s really amazing!

I waa very lucky there were thousands of them. But do do you singular shot as a macro shot of a die would be wonderful.

Oh yes, I will try that! 🙂

Thank you so much – goodness knows how many are in the whole sculpture. I can’t even count the ones in the square!

I think it is most unusual, but prefer the sinuous header to the square 😀 😀

So do I . . . . in hindsight I should have square that loop to make a circle with it! Still it is creating some hilarious feedback – which is lovely as I need some laughter today.

Started great and then heard some sad news. Was sort of expected but still knocked me for six this afternoon. Note six not four or two!

Sad new is always unwelcome, but often inevitable. Sending hugs (( ))
(and you do know that four and two make six?)

Thanks for the hugs and for the maths lesson. Made me laugh as that’s exactly the sort of thing Malcolm would have said!!

Almost…dad of a best friend. MrB and I are godparents to her son. They’ve had a tough 12months as her mother in law died last year. Just hit me quite hard this afternoon. Remembering the good times though this evening and there were many 😀

That’s really all you can do, is to hang on to the good times and honour their memory. Bad times sometimes seem to roll in, don’t they? I’m sorry.

Alea jacta est … so many circles (dots, whatever)! Normaly I like the black background of my theme but this square would probably look better on a lighter background. Here it is, for what it is worth: https://picturesimperfect2.wordpress.com/2018/03/19/my-twentieth-square/

Fabulous set of doors, but think you are right a lighter background may have set it off better. Could you perhaps add a frame?

I thought about it and didn’t because of the series but it would definitely be better (alternatively, I could crop less closely but I didn’t like that because the door is a bit skew and wherever I cut something off it made it worse
) But I’ll think about it.

He said “Have you seen a Doctor?”
I said “No….just spots”

And you had made me smile, which I need this afternoon. A close friend’s dad has died, he was a wonderful man and it has brought back memories of my loss last year. Not a great afternoon so jokes are perfect 😀

We do have some blue patches but I don’t know if we’ll make it to the Moors with the group as planned. Icy winds and maybe slippy underfoot. Enjoy the sunshine! Will you be in Lisbon for Easter or are yo back then?

WordPress really doesn’t like my comments. I tried sharing my photo twice with my Facebook account and both comments disappeared. 😦
I’m going to give it one more try in a different form.
The name of the blog is poetryofthenetherworld and it’s a Blogger Blog. (dot blogspot)
The image is of a fossilized baby dinosaur in a square of amber.
I like your image of the dice!
