I think a Spanish Mastiff – commonly used in the hills as guard dogs for livestock. This one clearly couldn’t be bothered though!

Do dogs still say “ARF!” there in the Algarve? Is there a discernable accent involved?

This one could hardly be bothered to lift his head let alone say ‘arf’!! Definitely got an accent though when they do woof. 🙂

I’m always a bit like that when I’m out there but I’m anticipating dark mornings and evenings so I’ll probably still do a little. 🙂 🙂

Our bedroom’s on the wrong side of the house for sunrise and I fear it’ll be a bit chilly on the rooftop first thing. Ok for sunsets though 🙂 🙂
