I’m missing the storks this year almost as much as the blue skies! So I am going to take a moment for more Christmas birdies and visit my Portuguese Feliz Natal post from yesteryear. Why not join me.

Hi Becky, I tried to mimic your gorgeous photo with the blue sky and a bird. Mine the eagle is dramatic, but the sky pales compared to your nice deep blue sky.

I love the storks. There seemed very few about when we were there in November. Hope you had a lovely Christmas day. I’m just letting the world drift gently by this morning, with little wisps of pink sky. ๐ ๐ Happy Boxing Day!

Drift by sounds perfect – we are off for a stroll shortly as finally we have blue skies!. Can’t actually remember the last time we saw them!!
Hope you have a fun day xx

Pink sky? Blue sky? I haven’t seen a sky in days! Pouring down most of the night and morning, with some hail too. Not a beach day. In fact it is more of a duvet day with a good book!!

Oh dear! Oh dear! You will live on the tropical south coast! It was a bit nippy but we had a lovely walk by the beach this morning. back to put the slow cooker on and sit by the tree.

I’m desperate for a lovely walk on the beach, but I’m not so desperate to go out in this weather!

Mick had the football on TV and they said it was chucking it down on the south coast. It was the Boxing Day dip this morning so they’d have got wet anyway. ๐ ๐ When we came home he mentioned the Morris Dancers at Greatham. I forget that every year and it would have been perfect weather.

Dry here until early afternoon – no Morris Dancers or dippers but lots of walkers!

Forgot to comment on the storks….we noticed too there were less last November. I’m wondering if some of them are migrating?
