Day two of December’s #SquareSky challenge and finally I get to share this extraordinary photograph. I can still recall the awe of seeing this cloud formation. Surely it couldn’t have been a year ago I took this. No wonder I’ve failed to keep to six for Debbie’s Six Word Saturday!
A great photo Becky

Quite a glowing reflection of colour in the wet pavements, too. Cool shot.

SunRISE actually. I only see sunrises while sailing. 🙂 Too lazy the rest of the time!

Oops so it was. Wasn’t really with it yesterday! Perfect place to capture sunrises from a boat.

Especially when you’re standing rotating watches and have to be on deck at that time of day!

Fabulous 🙂 the only time I have ever been on a ship at sunrise was when I spent three days on a tallship in the Whitsundays, just incredible and best of all not cold at dawn!

I have a few more Indian Ocean sunrises coming over the month, all taken from a tall ship. 🙂 And it was not cold for any of them!

Love your dramatic CUMULONIMBUS clouds! I have another one for you, most of my skies tend to be sunsets, but I have looked up a few different ones for your challenge.

I could have lied… but even with the knowledge some of them are very similar so I am bound to get one or two wrong!

It was just so huge . . . and smooth. Reminded me of a meringue at the time!
