Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge

Remember my lovely windows from Wordless Wednesday well these odd balls are from the same place: the fascinating Museu da Eletricidade em Lisboa.  

A power station is probably not on everyone’s must see list when in Lisbon but if you are enjoy learning about our industrial past, are interested in electricity or perhaps have a desire to step inside a furnace then it is certainly worth a visit. We’ll be posting more on the power station on my Portuguese blog in the next few weeks. For now though I just wanted to share these two photographs. I love the way that when I took a close up of the transformer it turned pink. Most unexpected and a double helping of Purple Pizzazz. It really is a great place to play with your camera: ah-ha another reason for you to visit!
