Perhaps it happens to you at the top. You know when you run up (or down!) to get something essential and suddenly forget what it was that brought you there.
I like to call it the coat hanger effect. My ‘rail’ can only carry so many, so if I squeeze too many on I cannot pull out what I want or even worse 3 or 4 drop off the end when I put something new on.
Well it’s happened again, and I cannot recall what, so I find myself here instead. Thank Goodness for Six Word Saturday and Blogging 101.
Coat hanger effect…. I’m a sufferer:)

If I say out loud to myself why I’m going up I’ve found that helps – but not sure that’s a good sign either!!!

Me too! But didn’t know it had a name! Standing on the middle of the stairs, I usually have to go back to where I was to try and think what I was going up or down for! x

Me too. I didn’t realise it had a name! When I enter a pub and wonder why I’m there I really will worry!

Ha ha! I suffer from the coat-hanger effect too! It can happen to me just walking into another room, never mind going upstairs. 😀

We all do it, and the older you get, the more often it happens, except that we’ve given up stairs, so now it’s those “what did I open the fridge for” moments.

Yikes not done the fridge yet but that might explain why my hubby stands there for ages sometimes just looking!
