Wow and look at the date on that photograph – can’t believe 11 years have passed. Just sitting here now looking at the photograph brings back memories of the sounds and feelings from that morning. This amazing experience came towards the end of my solo round the world trip, which was the only time I’ve ever recorded dates on my photographs. Helped enormously with organising them on my return!
This is my third post as part of ‘Six Word Saturday‘ a brilliant idea by Cate. To find out more and to see some fabulous other 6WS posts follow the link.
I’m hoping to be back next Saturday but in case I don’t make it why not visit my other blog – Hidden Delights.
The photo looks lovely. I have yet to go on a balloon flight, but it is on my ‘To Do’ list.

I’m going to the Balloon Festival in Bristol this August, but no chance of a flight 😦 Round the world solo sounds pretty exciting!

Not for me, but I can see how it can be a memorable experience.

Nearest I’ve got to it is holding a helium balloon on a ribbon! One day maybe, one day.

I’m with you, sister! My one balloon flight was almost 30 years ago & I still recall it in detail, still long to do it again. Fabulous.
